The tooth I needed to have extracted was a front tooth. This had a psychological impact on me as well as the physical discomfort of the diseased tooth itself. I seemed to have a "dumb attack", or "brain fog", although normally I am fairly intelligent. (My friends will back me up on this.) From the time I called saying I would be late because I thought the office was in a different location, I was treated kindly. Dr. B and his assistant explained what I might experience during the procedure, and even a little gentle humor to help ease my anxiety. In the recovery room the staff was kind even though it seemed (in retrospect I can agree ) I was having difficulty understanding the most obvious things. Thanks to everyone for your patience and kindness.
