Do I need pre-prosthetic surgery?

Many patients receive a pre-prosthetic operation when the bones in the dental arch are uneven or too sharp for a comfortable denture fit. A pre-prosthetic treatment will allow our oral surgeons to smooth out the bones to create a foundation for dentures. The Pre-Prosthetic Surgical Procedure

Dentures are designed to rest on the gums along the bony ridge that creates the dental arch.
